There he starts the grain store.After the years one of his grandchildren had to take chance in the fabric business.Then in upcoming years, his Grandchild start the manufacturing of Airplanes.The name of this Ambitious Grandchild is Valchand Hirachand, Who established the company named Hindustan Aircraft Limited.
He is not the only promoter of this company but Tulshidas Kilachand, Dharmeshji Khatau are his partners. This three promoter buy the shares of this company of worth Rs.25,00,000. On the day of 24 December 1940, they start the construction of this company at Bangluru. And until July 1941 they have made the first Made In India plane. After that, they grow to vary fast under the leadership of the trio. In just three months they finished the construction of the factory and in that factory, they ready the first Harlow type plane.
Due to the world war, two this company get a number of contracts so this company hire the Engineers, Administrators, and labours and there employed are riches to 13,000.
After this gland success government of India has bye all the sharer of this company from their three owners. Now this company nationalized and recognized as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.Latter it governs by the Minister of Defense India. Now they have established the new manufacturing units at Nasik. Lakhnow, Koraput.
Currently, HAL is manufacturing SU-30 MKI, HAWK, DO-228, Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), Cheetah / Chetak / Cheetah Helicopters and pilotless target aircraft. Besides, it undertakes repairs and overhaul of these aircraft/helicopters and other aircraft like Jaguar, Mirage, Kiran, Mig-21, HS-748, AN-32. HAL has taken up design and development of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) and Basic Turboprop Trainer (HTT-40). Co-development of Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) and Multirole Transport Aircraft (MTA) with Russia is also in progress.
So one Gujarati has start journey for his livelihood and it turns in to the One of the best achievement of Government of India, Point is we just have to start our ambition it will definitely lead us to the new heights.
